The thrilling race unfolds in the Rushing River on Squeeble Island. Participants select a Squeeble character and pair it with a Flipfish mount. Following the choice of math skills and difficulty level, the race kicks off. Correct answers propel the player's Flipfish closer to the finish line, with victory granted to the first player to answer ten questions correctly.

In one-player mode, children challenge a friendly Squeeble opponent categorized as 'Beginner,' 'Rookie,' 'Pro,' 'Expert,' 'Legend,' or 'Super Legend' based on mathematical proficiency. The two-player mode enables siblings, friends, or classmates to use a single device simultaneously, maximizing learning interactions without necessitating individual devices.

Moreover, aside from the competitive aspect driving children to excel in races, participants are rewarded with stars for accurate responses. These stars can be accumulated and exchanged for different Squeebles and Flipfish used during races. Furthermore, three scoreboards display daily, weekly, and all-time top racers.
